The Beginning of Big Science: Why is it Worth Going into Postgraduate Studies?


What are the goals people have when they enter postgraduate studies? Do postgraduates plan on developing science in their home university or will they try to go to a different scientific organization? What typically leads students in choosing a university to continue their education in postgraduate studies? Do postgraduate studies help develop careers outside of academics?

Answers to this and other questions will help the SUSU Office of Postgraduate Students improve the academic process and determine further prospective areas for development. The Office of Postgraduate Studies invites everyone interested in effective and quality education to complete a questionnaire organized within the 5-100 Russian academic excellence project.


The opinion of every postgraduate student is very meaningful and will affect the future development of the Office of Postgraduate Studies in our university!

* The questionnaire is being held as part of the realization of the 5-100 Russian academic excellence project. The head of the project M 3.1.2. Create and implement a system to attract outside candidates into the university postgraduate program, including the office for attracting Russian and international postgraduates, and also agreement by the academic council on the rules for enrollment in postgraduate programs providing a gradual increase in the proportion of enrollees who have graduated from different universities is Alisa Maltseva, candidate of psychological sciences, associate professor of the Department of Developmental Psychology and Age Consulting.
