The Deputy Head of the Information and Analytical Department of the Science and Innovation Activities Office, the graduate student of the Economics and Finance department of the Economics and Management Faculty Daria Gorshenina has met with the Nobel laureate in Economics in 1990 for his work on the theory of financial economics, the world famous scientist and the founder of the modern portfolio theory, Harry Markowitz.
The meeting was held within the professional fellowship in Innovation and Entrepreneurship (Professional Fellows Program) which Daria is now participating in.
Textbooks of Harry Markowitz provide the basis for methodological support of the educational process of leading universities in the world including South Ural State University. Especially for the Economics and Finance department professor gave his new monograph.
