The annual “SUSU Is a Sports University!” festival, which brought together more than 3000 students, athletes, guests and residents of our city, was held at Elena Elesina Track-and-field Complex on May 16th. This year, the event is dedicated to the 80th Anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War and is organised in the spirit of the legendary 1980 Olympics.
The opening ceremony was decorated with a real Olympic flame, symbolizing the desire for victory, unity and sporting spirit.
On May 16th and 17th, South Ural State University hosts an Open Forum on Ecology and Preservation of Water Bodies as part of the Ecology national project. This is a key industry event in the South Ural region, where opinion leaders, experts and innovators meet annually. The event included a traditional exhibition of scientific achievements by the university and partner enterprises in the field of environmental preservation.
19 мая в Челябинске стартовала IX Всероссийская научная конференция «Этнические взаимодействия на Южном Урале. Интеграция гуманитарного и естественно-научного подходов в археологии раннего металла».
Организаторами мероприятия выступают Южно-Уральский государственный университет, Министерство культуры Челябинской области, Государственный исторический музей Южного Урала и Институт истории и археологии УрО РАН.
The 4th Open Forum on Ecology and Preservation of Water Bodies, held within the frameworks of the Ecological Well-Being national project, began its work at South Ural State University. The forum brought together more than a thousand participants from 18 regions of Russia, including heads of large enterprises, government officials, scientists and public figures.
15 мая состоялась онлайн-встреча представителей кафедры Пищевые и биотехнологии ВМБШ ЮУрГУ с преподавателями и студентами Шеньянского технологического университета (ШТИ, Китай). Первокурсники ШТИ, обучающиеся по совместной с ЮУрГУ программе «Биоинжиниринг пищевых производств», представили доклады на русском языке, посвященные географическим и природным особенностям провинций Китая, а также национальным и культурным традициям страны.
