Emerson Corporation and the School of Electronic Engineering and Computer Science invite students and postgraduates interested in industrial automation to take advanced training courses.

The 2020-2021 advanced training program from Emerson company is aimed at developing the competencies necessary for professional activities in the design, implementation, and operation of modern automated process control systems.

The training will be held in a new laboratory utilizing innovative technologies by Emerson.

Students of Institute of Media, Social Sciences and Humanities Win the Telezachet All-Russian Competition of Television Creativity

As part of the Telezachet competition, 6 categories were presented. In total, 77 teams from 37 universities (members of the Association of Technical Universities) took part in it. The aim of the competition is to develop a single scientific, technological and educational space, popularize Russian education, science and culture, foster pride and respect for the achievements of our country.

Head of SUSU REC Spoke at Press Conference on Information Security

The residents of the South Ural region have been reminded of the importance of information security during an online press conference on cybersecurity “Cyber Threats: Opinion of South Urals Experts”. A SUSU employee, Head of the Research and Education Centre (REC), which was created jointly with Kaspersky Laboratory (leading information security company), took part in the conference. Thanks to such cooperation, SUSU graduates learn from real examples and receive the most relevant knowledge.

SUSU Students Can Apply for Scholarship to Study in Hungary

Будапешт

Tempus Public Foundation has announced the launching of a new course for Russian students willing to apply for a scholarship in Hungary under Stipendium Hungaricum program intended for studying in Hungary (academic mobility for 1-2 semesters). The languages of instruction are both English, and Hungarian.

The participants will be offered free-of-charge studying in one of the universities in Hungary, a monthly scholarship in the amount of 120 euro, free accommodation in a dormitory, and health insurance.

Практика по профилактике негативных проявлений экстремизма и терроризма, реализуемая в Южно-Уральском государственном университете, признана лучшей в регионе.

В конце ноября завершился конкурс, организованный Южно-Уральским государственным гуманитарно-педагогическим университетом. Цель – выявление, объединение, презентация и экспертиза практик по профилактике негативных идеологий и практик по укреплению межнационального и межрелигиозного согласия в студенческой сфере.

Студенты ИМСГН в условиях дистанта провели День Практики

На кафедре «Журналистика, реклама и связи с общественностью» Института медиа и социально-гуманитарных наук состоялось традиционное мероприятие – «День практики», прошедшее в онлайн-формате. Преподаватели и студенты обсудили итоги летней практики, которая в связи с пандемией COVID-19 прошла дистанционно.

Традиционно мероприятие состоит из двух блоков, это – научно-практическая конференция «Студенческая практика в системе профессиональных координат» и фестиваль студенческих работ «По волнам летней практики».
