The first Open House Day in the academic year of 2019/20 was held at the Activity Hall of South Ural State University on October 6th. More than 800 people were present at the event.

On October 1st, all universities of the Russian Federation announced new admission regulations and target figures on state-funded places for the future academic year, as well as posted the information, concerning students’ personal achievements.

On October 8th, representatives of SMS Group, Germany, held a presentation of the “SMS Data Challenge” international data analysis contest at South Ural State University.

Among the participants were fourth-year Bachelor’s students and first- and second-year Master’s students of the SUSU School of Electronic Engineering and Computer Science and the Institute of Natural Sciences and Mathematics.

Head of the Data Mining and Virtualization Department of the Laboratory of Supercomputer Simulation Mikhail Tsymbler greeted the participants of the presentation.

8 октября в Южно-Уральском государственном университете представители компании SMS group (Германия) провели презентацию международного конкурса по анализу данных «SMS Data Challenge».

Участниками мероприятия стали бакалавры 4 курса и магистранты 1-2 курсов Высшей школы электроники и компьютерных наук и Института естественных и точных наук ЮУрГУ.

Начальник отдела интеллектуального анализа данных и виртуализации Лаборатории суперкомпьютерного моделирования Михаил Цымблер приветствовал участников презентации.

6 октября в актовом зале Южно-Уральского государственного университета состоялся первый в 2019/20 учебном году День открытых дверей. Мероприятие посетили более 800 человек.

1 октября все вузы Российской Федерации опубликовали новые правила приема и контрольные цифры по бюджетным местам на будущий учебный год, а также разместили информацию, касающуюся индивидуальных достижений учеников.
