The 2025 admissions campaign has officially started at South Ural State University. The first applicant to submit documents was Vladimir Zabegaev, First Deputy Chairman of the Association of Veterans of the Special Military Operation of the Chelyabinsk Region and Advisor to the Head of the City on Working with Veterans of Military Operations.

Экспертизу представлений на соискание премии обеспечивает Координационный совет по делам молодежи в научной и образовательной сферах Совета при Президенте Российской Федерации по науке и образованию.
The Government of the Chelyabinsk Region, VEB.RF State Development Corporation, and Chelyabinsk Concession Company (CCC), one of the founders of which is VTB Infrastructure Holding, have signed a direct agreement on the project to build a World-class Inter-university Campus in the Chelyabinsk Region.
The agreement defines the terms of interaction between the parties throughout the entire period of implementation of the concession agreement, including the procedure for settlements, changes in financing terms and the exchange of information about the project.
Many of those enrolling in a university would like to have an understanding of what awaits for them in the future. After their graduation the majority will start working according to their major, for instance in the government sector or business, but there also will be those who will dedicate their lives to “pure” fundamental science and will make discoveries that will help the society step up to a whole new level of technology development.
19 июня в актовом зале ЮУрГУ торжественно подвели итоги учебного года и наградили студенческие советы и объединения. Это вечер благодарности, признания и вдохновения для каждого, кто вложил душу в развитие молодежной политики в этом году.
На мероприятии собрались все студенческие объединения, активисты, организаторы, волонтёры, творческие коллективы и все, кто делал внеучебную жизнь университета яркой.
Группа стартаперов из Южно-Уральского государственного университета (ЮУрГУ) разработала комплекс автономной системы посадки БПЛА мультикоптерного типа «Дронодром», который обеспечит сантиметровую точность позиционирования, уменьшит вероятность возникновения аварийных ситуаций при посадке и снизит вдвое стоимость обслуживания беспилотников.
