Major: Jurisprudence, Law and Digital Technologies Level: Master’s degree Duration of training: 2 years Mode of study: Full time Language of study: Russian Programme description: This academic programme was developed to meet the needs of the regional labour market and accounts for the traditions and achievements of scientific and pedagogical school of the university, while also taking into account the requirements of the federal legislation. The programme aims to provide students with in-depth knowledge and practical skills in the field of law and digital technologies from an international, comparative, and interdisciplinary perspective and has virtually no analogues among the Master's programs in the Jurisprudence programme in Russia. Lectures are read by experts in various branches of law, both from Russia and abroad (UK, Malaysia, Poland, Slovenia). The programme covers issues of traditional legal doctrine, the regulation of digital legal relations in public and private law, and international and comparative law. The programme explores a number of legal and lawrelated disciplines that address the opportunities and risks associated with innovation and new technologies. Of the greatest interest are the novel specialty subjects of the program. Upon completion of the course, graduates of the master's programme acquire the necessary competencies to work as executives both in international law and in other companies or government agencies: theoretical and practical knowledge in the field of legal support for the digital economy and digitalization of public administration; law-making, law enforcement, consultation, organizations and management, research, and teaching. The academic programme aims to develop students' personal qualities, universal, general, and specific professional competencies, and is focused on: training highly-qualified and competitive specialists while accounting for the recommendations of employers; forming basic knowledge in jurisprudence, skills to solve problems of judicial and prosecutorial activities; forming universal competencies that contribute to the social mobility of graduates and their stability in the labour market; developing personal qualities in students that contribute to their creativity, general cultural growth and social mobility: purposefulness, organization, persistence in achieving goals; developing students’ ability to work independently in the fields of judicial and prosecutorial activity.  This programme provides in-depth study of a broad range of subjects that reveal the peculiarities of the judicial system of Russia and the consideration by courts of certain categories of cases, as well as the protection of human and civil rights and freedoms. Заместитель директора Юридического института ЮУрГУ по международным вопросам, доктор юридических наук, профессор кафедры гражданского права и гражданского судопроизводства Елизавета Громова получила приглашение войти в международный экспертный совет Арбитражного центра БРИКС.

Сам по себе Арбитражный центр БРИКС действует в Китае, он организован на базе Международного арбитражного суда Гуанчжоу.
