في الفترة من 28 إلى 30 يونيو، وفي إطار برنامج «المركز الروسي للتربية المدنية والوطنية للأطفال والشباب (روسباتريوت)» التابع للوكالة الفيدرالية لشؤون الشباب في موسكو، عُقدت ندوة تدريبية حول إنشاء وتطوير مراكز شباب القوزاق للأطفال والشباب. التعليم العسكري الوطني للشباب وإعداد شباب القوزاق للخدمة العسكرية، والذي شارك فيه أرتيم كليوتين - طالب في المدرسة العليا للاقتصاد والإدارة بجامعة جنوب الأورال الحكومية.

IMSSH Department of Philology is founded by the order of the rector №43 by 23.06.1999 from 01.07.1999 in purpose of providing specialized department of qualitative preparation of students of humanitarian specialties.
Since this year, SUSU has been training highly qualified engineering personnel at the Advanced Engineering School of Engine Building and Special Equipment "Heart of the Urals". "Advanced Engineering Schools" is a federal project launched on the initiative of the Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation Mikhail Mishustin in 2022. It is aimed at training qualified engineering personnel for high-tech sectors of the economy.
On July 1, 2024, a delegation from South Ural State University visited the territory of the Interuniversity Campus under construction as part of the selection procedure for the operator of the targeted operation of the hotel complex. Ready-made residential buildings, rooms for students, common areas were shown to SUSU representatives. According to the results of the final negotiations, the university was recognized as meeting all the necessary criteria.
South Ural State University entered top 15 ranking of universities in terms of salaries of graduates 2018–2023 years, working in field of economics and finances, prepared by the analytical center SuperJob.
Compared to the results of last year, SUSU rose by 3 positions at once and took 15th place in the ranking. Average salary of graduate-economists is 70 thousand rubles per month, which is 20 thousand rubles more than a year earlier. At the same time, 75% of our graduates remain working in Chelyabinsk.
