A Student of SUSU Took the Gold at the Universiade in Napoli

The World Summer Universiade finished in Italian city of Napoli. National Team Russia included seven athletes from the Chelyabinsk region, including a student of the Institute of Sport, Tourism and Service at South Ural State University, Anton Bulaev.

More than eight thousand athletes from 150 countries took part in the 30th Summer Universiade. They competed for 222 sets of awards in 18 sports.

International Applicants Choose SUSU

More and more international students choose SUSU to pursue their higher education. In the 2018-2019 academic year, SUSU was home for over 2000 international students from 52 countries. Most of them are from China, Egypt, Iraq, Kazakstan, Uzbekistan, and Tajikistan. Every year SUSU expands its geography and recruits international students from new countries. For example, this year we expect new coming students from Canada, Haiti, Mali, and Burkino Faso.

A Future View of the University Management: SUSU at the “Island 10-22”

The team of executives and young researchers of SUSU keeps mastering innovative educational and managerial competencies in the course of “Island 10-22” intense educational workshop. The motto of the Island is “Thinking from the Future!” Based on this motto, new ideas get formed and the ways of their implementation get proposed. The SUSU team is fully engaged in operation of the Island and takes an active part in scientific and social experiments.

Студент ЮУрГУ выиграл золотую медаль на Универсиаде в Неаполе

В итальянском Неаполе завершилась Всемирная летняя Универсиада. В сборную России вошли семь спортсменов из Челябинской области, среди которых студент Института спорта, туризма и сервиса Южно-Уральского государственного университета Антон Булаев.

В XXX Всемирной летней Универсиаде приняли участие больше восьми тысяч спортсменов из 150 стран. Было разыграно 222 комплекта наград в 18 видах спорта. 

Развитие BIM-технологий: ЮУрГУ начал сотрудничество с Госэкспертизой Челябинской области

24 июня 2019 года состоялось заключение соглашения о сотрудничестве между Южно-Уральским государственным университетом в лице ректора Александра Шестакова и ОГАУ «Госэкспертиза Челябинской области» в лице его начальника Олега Грищенко. Соглашение направлено на развитие направления информационного моделирования в строительстве и формирования кадрового резерва.

Breakthrough to the Digital Level of Academic Interaction: the SUSU Team at “Island 10 – 22” Educational Workshop

July 10th through 22nd, the team of SUSU led by the Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, Andrey Shmidt, is taking part in an intensive educational workshop called “Island 10 – 22”. The educational workshop is held at Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology. The main purpose of the “Island” is to form and develop teams of regional universities which will be able to bring system changes in the sphere of training of cadres for technological development into reality.

The delegation of South Ural State University for participation in the World Journalism Education Congress in Paris included Doctor of Sciences (Philology), Dean of the SUSU Faculty of Journalism, Professor Liudmila Shesterkina, Candidate of Sciences (Philology), Associate Professor at the Department of Journalism and Mass Communication, Anna Krasavina, and Head of SUSU’s Production Photo Studio Laboratory, editor of the Digital Communications Office at the Marketing and Strategic Communications Department, Oleg Igoshin.
