President of Emerson Corporation, Michael Train will open the Global Forum on Industry 4.0 at SUSU

One month remains till the start of a unique international scientific Global Smart Industry Conference — 2018, which is to be held on November 13th through 15th at South Ural State University. The event will be opened by a report by the Conference Chair, President of Emerson Corporation, Michel Train, who is to visit Russia in the new status for the first time.

Иностранные студенты ЮУрГУ приняли участие в чемпионате по мини-футболу

В минувшие выходные состоялся ежегодный турнир «Кубок мира» среди иностранных студентов всех вузов города Челябинска. В составе 12 команд иностранцы боролись за кубок и звание сильнейшей команды города.

Чемпионат по мини футболу – традиционное мероприятие Ассоциации иностранных студентов Южного Урала. Турнир проводится 2 раза в год: весной и осенью. 1 команда представляет 1 страну и в этот раз участие приняли 12 стран мира.

SUSU Improved its Positions in QS BRICS 2019 Regional Ranking

Annually, the prestigious ranking agency QS Quacquarelli Symonds publishes ratings of the world’s best universities. In October 2018, QS BRICS 2019 regional ranking was released and the published part of it included about 400 universities from Brazil, Russia, India, and China. In the course of five years, South Ural State University has been a regular participant of this ranking and has been showing just the positive dynamics. So, this year the university improved its result by 26 positions in comparison with the previous edition, having risen to the 112th place.

A Contest for Best Presentation of Profession and the University is Being Held at SUSU

Students of the university are invited to take part in a contest for best presentation of their profession and their university.

The goal of the contest is to reveal and encourage creative potential of students and staff of the university. Being direct participants of the education process, they at full extent can pen picture and describe in details our university and the chosen professions.

Целью конкурса является выявление и стимулирование творческого потенциала студентов и сотрудников университета.  Как непосредственные участники образовательного процесса, они могут в полной мере красочно и подробно рассказать о нашем вузе и о выбранных профессиях.

ЮУрГУ улучшил позиции в региональном рейтинге QS BRICS 2019

Ежегодно авторитетное рейтинговое агентство QS Quacquarelli Symonds публикует рейтинги лучших университетов мира. В октябре 2018 года вышел региональный рейтинг QS BRICS 2019, в публикуемую часть которого вошло около 400 университетов из Бразилии, России, Индии и Китая. На протяжении пяти лет Южно-Уральский государственный университет является постоянным участником данного рейтинга и демонстрирует только положительную динамику. Так, в этом году университет улучшил результат на 26 позиций по сравнению с прошлым изданием, поднявшись на 112 место.

Unique English Language Software for Academic Writing Created at SUSU

SUSU’s Linguo-innovative Technologies Research and Education Center (LiNT REC) was established in 2012. Since then the employees of the Research and Education Center fulfilled several unique projects, including AutoLex, InterAct and AutoTutor software programs.
