The programme provides a system of in-depth knowledge in the field of digital television and radio broadcasting. The graduates of the programme gain all the types of journalism activity skills, such as working as author, editor and organizer, at a high professional level. Field of future profession The graduates are able to work professionally as: television and radio broadcasting editors, television and radio correspondents, producers, reporters, announcers, news presenters, moderators, television and radio interviewers, talk show hosts, film editors, television critics, radio critics; sound engineers of radio broadcasts, radio hosts or DJs. Education program is aimed at forming general cultural and professional competences in accordance with the requirements of Federal State Education Standard 3+, and is also focused on training of highly qualified and competitive specialists in the field of history and history teaching. The field of professional activity: work in higher educational institutions, educational institutions of secondary vocational education, archives, museums, libraries, specialized academic institutes and other research institutes, expert-analytical and research centers, public and state organizations of information and analytical profile; in the media (including electronic), government and local governments, in tourist and excursion organizations, business. The bachelor of philology is ready for research, design and organizational, managerial, applied and pedagogical activity in the field of theoretical and applied linguistics, national and foreign literature, interpersonal and intercultural communication, functioning of different types of texts: written, oral, virtual, hypertext, textual elements of multimedia objects. Field of study The curriculum for the “Applied Philology” assumes the training of specialists of a wide scope of work with any types of texts in various fields of applied philology: media, PR and advertising companies, recruitment agencies, marketing departments and business administration departments of enterprises. A graduate of this program is a specialist with professional communication skills; skills of annotating, summarizing, editing and creating stylistically expressive, capacious texts based on deep knowledge of the Russian language, Russian and foreign literature, history, cultural studies, and psychology.
