The development of the digital economy and transition to Industry 4.0 directly depends on high-tech industry which must meet the demands of global competitiveness, efficiency, and high productivity.
This is not the first year that South Ural State University cooperates with the National Engineering School of Saint-Etienne (France). Students of both SUSU and the French university have the possibility to gather up experience abroad. Within the period of cooperation, 8 master’s degree students of the SUSU Department of Machines and Processes of Plastic Metal Working completed their study in France on the Master2 program and received master’s degrees at the European university.
On October 11–12, the 4th International Science-to-Practice Conference entitled “The 21st Century University in the System of Continuing Education” is to be held at SUSU with the purpose of expanding international and interdisciplinary cooperation of teaching staff, researchers, and other specialists in this sphere.

Less than one month is left until the brightest, most memorable, most talents-filled event for first-ear students. Last year, the festival gathered more than 200 participants and over 800 people of the cheering audience! It was an unforgettable experience for them all, and a charge of positive emotions for the whole year.
Южно-Уральский государственный университет не первый год сотрудничает с Национальной инженерной школой университета Сент-Этьена (Франция). У студентов французского университета и ЮУрГУ есть возможность набираться опыта за границей. За время сотрудничества во Франции прошли обучение по программе Master2 и получили магистерские дипломы европейского вуза 8 магистрантов кафедры «Процессы и машины обработки металлов давлением» ЮУрГУ.
Развитие Цифровой экономики и переход к «Индустрии 4.0» напрямую зависит от высокотехнологичной промышленности, которая должна отвечать требованиям глобальной конкурентоспособности, требованиям эффективности и высокой производительности труда.
11–12 октября в ЮУрГУ состоится IV Международная научно-практическая конференция «Университет XXI века в системе непрерывного образования» с целью расширения международного и междисциплинарного сотрудничества педагогов, исследователей и других специалистов в этой области.
