Green Apple International Festival of Marketing, Advertising and PR-communications Starts at SUSU

April 17th through April 20th, the 15th Green Apple International Youth Festival of Marketing, Advertising and PR-communications starts at the Department of Marketing of the SUSU School of Economics and Management.

The opening ceremony of the festival will be held at Activity Hall of SIGMA Education and Recreation Building on April 17th at 14:00.

С 17 по 20 апреля на базе кафедры «Маркетинг» Высшей школы экономики и управления ЮУрГУ стартует XV Международный молодежный фестиваль маркетинга, рекламы и PR-коммуникаций «Зеленое яблоко».

Торжественное открытие фестиваля состоится 17 апреля, в 14:00 в актовом зале учебно-досугового комплекса «СИГМА».

Ежегодно в фестивале принимают участие студенты различных вузов городов Российской Федерации, а также студенты из США, Китая, Казахстана и других стран.

A true New Year holiday got celebrated by students at South Ural State University.

In the middle of April (on 13th or 14th day), when the sun moves from the twelfth house of the zodiac (the sign of Pisces) to the first house (the sign of Aries), Sri Lankan people celebrate their national New Year - Aluth Avurudda. This holiday is celebrated by two Sri Lankan nations: Sinhalese and Tamils. The New Year signifies harvest of rice and symbolizes the end of one solar cycle and the beginning of the new one.

SUSU Students will Begin Studying Lean Production in the New Academic Year

In September, a unique-for-Chelyabinsk Laboratory of Simulation Learning entitled “Efficient Production” is planned to be opened on the grounds of South Ural State University’s School of Economics and Management. In the course of classes, students will master in practice the fundamentals of “lean production” concept in business management, which nowadays is the world’s mainstream of management.

Exhibition and Master Class by a Designer from Buenos Aires in Chelyabinsk

On April 20th and 21st a lecture will be delivered and a master class will be held at the Museum and Exhibition Center of Chelyabinsk State Museum of Local History by a multi-disciplinary designer Mono Grinbaum from Buenos Aires (Argentina).

Mono is one of the most interesting characters in the field of poster design who combines a brand’s commercial aspect with his own personal language of anti-branding, almost street-like lettering, and street art aesthetics.  

ЮУрГУ стал самой крупной площадкой «Тотального диктанта» в Челябинске

В субботу, 14 апреля, в Челябинске, как и во всей России, прошла акция «Тотальный диктант». Проверить свою грамотность в этому году решились 2500 челябинцев и гостей города. Для них организовали несколько площадок. Традиционно ЮУрГУ стал самой крупной в южноуральской столице.

«В этом году в Челябинске 35 площадок. ЮУрГУ стал самой большой площадкой в городе в этом году. Диктант написали свыше 400 носителей языка, а также около 200 иностранцев», – отметила Милана Сычкова, координатор площадок Тотального диктанта в Челябинске.

В сентябре на базе Высшей школы экономики и управления Южно-Уральского государственного университета планируется открытие уникальной для Челябинска лаборатории имитационного обучения «Эффективное производство». На занятиях студенты будут на практике постигать азы концепции «leanproduction» по управлению предприятием, которая сегодня является мировым мейнстримом менеджмента.
