During their day in Chelyabinsk, our guests from the People's Republic of China visited the places most important in student life: world-class inter-university campus; Quantorium Technology Park for children; Faculty of Mechatronics and Robotics; International China-Russia Joint Laboratory for Bioresources Processing; Teaching Laboratory of Food Biotechnology, as well as the Chelyabinsk campus of School 21.
Deputy Vice-Rector for Education Andrey Kocherov shared with the teachers’ delegation on the SUSU academic programmes and institutes, as well as on our leading projects and laboratories.
In addition, our guests met with representatives of the Institute of Linguistics and International Communications. Together with his colleagues, Director Maksim Gutenev highlighted the opportunities that the Institute provides to international students: studying at the Pushkin Institute, Pre-University Division, as well as learning Russian as a foreign language. Students from China demonstrated fragments of classes that they hold as part of studying at our university.
Our guests from the People's Republic of China expressed their hope for the cooperation of their educational organizations with SUSU.
