SUSU Scientific Task Force Heading to Cities of the Chelyabinsk Region

Scientific Task Force is a big-scale scientific and educational project launched by South Ural State University. As part of the event, leading scientists from our university will hold popular science lectures and fascinating master classes for children of the Chelyabinsk Region.

Renowned teaching staff members and scientists from one of Russia's major universities will talk about achievements and complex phenomena from the world of science in an accessible form. The project offers both face-to-face visits by scientists to municipal districts and online lectures on the project’s Youtube channel.

Today South Ural State University is one of the leaders of modern Russian education, a university of digital transformation, where innovative research in most priority fields of science and technology development is conducted. The university comprises 12 schools and institutes which employ Candidates and Doctors of Sciences.

The project kicks off January 25th on Student Day with a lecture by Denis Vinnik, Doctor of Sciences (Chemistry), Head of the Department of Materials Science, Physical and Chemical Properties of Materials. The broadcast will begin at 14:30.
