The Department of Modern Languages at SUSU Institute of Linguistics and International Communications invites foreign citizens to study the new 45.04.01 Philology Master Program in English. The program is a two-year, full-time, contract-based program. Students are chosen through personal interviews.
The highly qualified teachers of the SUSU Department of Modern Languages teach Master’s degree seeking students special disciplines that will help them become true professionals. Teachers include 1 Doctor of Sciences and 23 Candidates of Sciences.

Upon graduation, master's students will be ready to independently conduct research in philology, present the results of their research in scientific publications and presentations at international conferences, teach English as a foreign language, and actively use intercultural communication skills to establish academic and scientific contacts.
Academic partners of the Department of Modern Languages include the CSU Department of Business Foreign Language; the SUSMU Department of Foreign Languages with Latin Course; the UrFU Department of Foreign Languages and Educational Technologies; the KFU Department of Foreign Languages; the MISIS Department of Foreign Languages and Communication Technologies; the ITMO Department of Foreign Languages; and the TSU Organization and Technologies of Higher Professional Education Research and Education Centre.
The SUSU Department of Modern Languages successfully implements an effective system of continuous language training for specialists, thanks to which graduate students have a real opportunity to become a world-renowned scholar or a professional with a high level of foreign language proficiency.
