Take Part in the Contest of “75 Interesting Facts about SUSU”

On the occasion of SUSU’s anniversary, the Faculty of History announces a blitz contest entitled “75 Interesting Facts about SUSU”.

Did you know that the first SUSU student who graduated with honours was personally awarded by the Rector with… rubber overshoes?

Or that the first welding laboratory of the university was located in a storage room of Lyceum No.11? What interesting can you tell about your university?

Flip through editions of the university newspapers, go to a museum, have a stroll around campus, talk to alumni and the oldest lecturers of Faculties and discover the most peculiar fact about your university.

Email one or several interesting facts till December 1 to history.susu[at]gmail[dot]com with a reference to the source (the reference is mandatory) and wait!

On December 2, Expert Committee will choose 3 winners in the following categories:

  1. The most interesting and peculiar fact about history and activities of SUSU;
  2. Gatherer of the largest number of interesting facts;
  3. Possessor of the “obvious though incredible” fact regarding SUSU’s history or activities.

Winners will be awarded with valuable prizes on the day of the beginning of anniversary celebratory events – on December 10 of 2018 during presentation of the project entitled “Digital History of SUSU” in room 018 of the main building (SUSU’s Exhibition Centre) at 10:30.

Hurry up! Perhaps, it will be your fact that will amaze the jury and earn you a reward!
