Description of the educational programme

This educational programme aims at training postgraduates for research-and-development activity in the fields of science, engineering, technology and pedagogy, which cover the set of problems within the Aviation and Rocket-and-Space Equipment:

  • fundamental research in the field of flight mechanics, aerothermodynamics, structural strength, materials and technology, systems of control, navigation and guidance of the aviation and rocket-and-space equipment;
  • theoretical and experimental research on the conceptual design, structural design, design of propulsion system. units, aggregates and systems of the new and the existing aircraft, including the rocket-and-space systems, manned and unmanned aircraft; methods of making justified systems-engineering, design-and-engineering and technology decisions in order to select the composition, optimal parameters and organizing of an aircraft life-cycle processes, as well as to connect these processes with the properties of the items, technical-and-economical and organizational characteristics of their production; relevant mathematical support and software.
