Program description

The content of the educational program is focused on developing students' professional competencies in the following fields:

  • regulation of biotechnological processes;
  • solving problems of the development and modification of food ingredients, including microorganisms, valuable plant and animal components;
  • creation of new food products with specified composition and properties.

Fields of study / Major

  • Analysis of biotechnological methods for obtaining food ingredients and dietary supplements
  • Study of the mechanisms of encapsulation of biologically active substances and their guided delivery to the corresponding systems of the human body
  • Search and development of effective ways of obtaining biotechnological products, the creation of modern biotechnologies, including nanobiotechnologies, cellular technologies

˗ Isolation, identification and analysis of products of biosynthesis and biotransformation, new strain-producers of biological preparations production.
