Description of the educational programme

This educational programme aims at training specialists for research-and-development, design-and-engineering activity in the fields of intensive designing of the rocket and space equipment facilities, as well as the fields research in: aero-hydro-gas-mechanics, heat exchange, strength, structural dynamics and motion.

Field of future profession

The graduates are ready to solve the following professional tasks:

  • working in an information-and-communication space, performing solid-state computer modelling, strength, dynamics and heat calculations with the use of general-purpose software;
  • analyzing the state and the prospects of development for both missile and rocket-and-space equipment in general and its separate directions, and creating mathematical models of functioning of the facilities of missile and rocket-and-space equipment;
  • performing detailed design studies of the items of missile and rocket-and-space equipment with the use of solid-state computer modelling in compliance with the unified design documentation system and with the use of modern software complexes;
  • performing mathematical modelling of the item being developed and of its subsystems with the use of the system approach methods and modern software products for the behaviour prediction, optimization and studying the functioning of the item in general, as well as of its subsystems with the consideration to the materials being used, foreseeable risks and possible failures;
  • using the algorithmic languages to develop software for studying the processes described in the mathematical models;
  • developing the technological process of producing the items of rocket-and-space equipment.
