27 апреля на базе Южно-Уральского государственного университета состоялась конференция «Kaspersky Security Day». Организаторами конференции выступили «Лаборатория Касперского» (г. Москва), компания «ИТ Дистрибуция» (г. Челябинск) и НОЦ «Лаборатории Касперского» Высшей школы электроники и компьютерных наук ЮУрГУ.

The Campus is Clean and Shiny: Saturday Cleaning Jobs are Finished

As per tradition, in April students, teaching staff and SUSU employees take part in annual Saturday Cleaning jobs. In 2018, more than 1000 students participated in Saturday Cleaning jobs.

Each year, the territory gets distributed between representatives of Institutes and Schools. Extracurricular Activities Department coordinates subdivisions’ work, and Administration and Maintenance Department supervises the work at the territories.

Ученые ЮУрГУ создали новый сорбент для защиты окружающей среды

Ученые из ЮУрГУ, занимающиеся разработкой материалов для очистки воды и воздуха на промышленных предприятиях, создали уникальное вещество для защиты окружающей среды.

Специалисты из Южно-Уральского государственного университета работают над проектом «Синтез мезопористых материалов на основе переходных металлов», цель которого – создание новых катализаторов и сорбентов. Магистрант университета, один из авторов данной программы, Дмитрий Толстогузов указал на преимущество нового материала, и рассказал о способах его использования.

В Южно-Уральском государственном университете прошел Международный фестиваль дружбы «Мы разные, но мы вместе», в котором приняли участие студенты самых разных национальностей, обучающиеся в ЮУрГУ.

Студгородок сияет чистотой: В ЮУрГУ завершились весенние субботники

Традиционно в апреле студенты, преподаватели и сотрудники ЮУрГУ выходят на ежегодные субботники. В 2018 году в субботниках приняли участие более 1000 студентов. 

Ежегодно между представителями институтов и высших школ распределяются территории. Координацией и работой с подразделениями занимается Управление по внеучебной работе, а работу на территориях курирует административно-хозяйственная часть.

SUSU Staff Took Part in the Master’s Programs: Global in the Local Conference

As part of the grant by Vladimir Potanin Foundation, the Department of Accounting of the SUSU School of Economics and Management took part in the Master’s Programs: Global in the Local conference, which was held in Kazan on April 16th and 17th. The Head of the Department Irina Prosvirina and her colleagues participated in the discussion on the prospects of development of Master’s programs in Russia.

SUSU Students Win the All-Russian Student Olympiad on Life Safety

April 16th through 18th of 2018, the 3rd (final) stage of the All-Russian Student Olympiad on Life Safety was held at Bauman Moscow State Technical University. The SUSU team won in the individual and team competitions.

14 teams from various Russian cities took part in the finals – more than 40 people in total. The final was held in two stages:

Environment-friendly Magnesite Concrete Is Being Developed at SUSU

Current development of science and engineering inevitably affects the environment; the interaction of human beings and nature is especially visible in ecological problems caused by the mining industry. In the process of natural resources mining, tailings are generated during preparation and treatment and then forwarded to dumping sites. The scientists of South Ural State University are solving the problem of disposal of such magnesium-containing waste by using it as raw materials for production of magnesite concrete.

25 апреля в ЮУрГУ прошла научно-практическая конференция «Криптоэкономика: состояние, тренды, прогнозы». Организатором конференции выступила кафедра «Финансы, денежное обращение и кредит» ВШЭУ. В качестве спикеров выступили преподаватели университета и студенты Высшей школы экономики и управления, а также представители крупных финансовых компаний.
