RAEX Rating Agency (RAEX-Analytics) has for the fourth time prepared the rankings of universities by reputation within broad fields. For several years now the status of South Ural State university in this ranking has been stable.
Every year the lists of Top 50 universities are published for the fields of “Engineering, Natural Sciences and Mathematics” and “Economics and Management”, as well as of Top 10 universities for the fields of “Mathematics and Natural Sciences”, “Technical Sciences, Engineering and Technologies”, “Humanities and Social Sciences”, and “Medicine”.
This year South Ural State University has occupied the 28th place under the category of “Engineering, Natural Sciences and Mathematics”, and the 38th place in “Economics and Management”.
In the process of ranking, the opinions of respondents were taken into account regarding the quality of education, demand for graduates on part of employers, as well as the level of research activity. The polling was taken among representatives of the academic and scientific community, representatives of employing companies, as well as students and graduates. The total number of respondents exceeded 60 thousand people.
The results of the reputation assessment by RAEX are not only used to build rankings for certain fields, but are also taken into consideration along with statistical indices when forming the annual complex RAEX ranking – Top 100 Universities of Russia.
