University Organized Gagarin Sports Competition 2018 for Cosmonauts Day

Last weekend Gagarin Sports Competition 2018 event was held at SUSU. Students competed in various sports: from chess to table tennis.

The event was held under the guidance of the Deputy Dean of Sports Rashit Shaikhetdinov. The majority of students opted for competitions in chess. Each game was individual, some people played for speed, some people thought every move through. The participants competed not only with their groupmates but also with senior students.

During the games of tennis, darts, and chess students remembered some interesting stories, shared helpful information, and simply helped one another through difficult game moments. As a result, all of the participants were happy and glad to share their feelings.

“I participated in the darts competition where my groupmate Aleksandr Puchin and I took the first place, losing none of the rounds. The Gagarin Sports Competition 2018 event was fun and easy, the judges joked and smiled, and encouraged the contestants,” says student of the SUSU Faculty of Aerospace Engineering Mikhail Dinges.
