The final of Miss SUSU-2018 contest of beauty, creativity, sport, and intellect was held on March 29 at the Congress and Exhibition Hall. The most charismatic and talented students from South Ural State University competed for the title of Miss SUSU.
A month and a half passed since the moment of the first casting to the final. All of this time was spent on preparing for the final show: daily rehearsals, photoshoots, costume selection, and preparing of group and solo performances. The contestants competed in a quest room and in Mozgoboynya (Brainstorm Fight) quiz game’. Each girl also prepared her own master class.
This is the anniversary and the last Miss SUSU contest, remembered by many. This year, the theme of the final was ‘Repertoire’. It wasn’t students taking the stage, but real pop divas - choreography, bright transitions, and the most important part of the final – solo performances. Monologues on the topic of demonic women, fiery and passionate dance about love, acrobatic pieces, and a vocal performance. The jury had quite a difficult task: choose the best of the best. Each participant had her own image, charming smile, talent, and eyes shiny with happiness, and charisma.
The title of Miss SUSU 2018 was awarded to Olga Schneider – a second year student of the School of Economics and Management. In the future, the young lady will be participating in the regional contest of Miss and Mister Studentship of the Chelyabinsk Region.
“This is very unfamiliar and strange. I am really happy. I tried very hard, put all my effort into this, and it all came back to me,” said Olga, sharing her emotions after her victory.
