Hack the Media Hackathon: Searching for New Ideas and Solutions in Digital Media, AI and Big Data

Gazprom-Media Entertainment TV company announces the launch of their first hackathon, in which they are searching for projects with ready-made solutions, as well as for young developers and analysts who have ideas on creating new algorithms for data processing. The Hackathon will be held in Moscow, April 7th-8th.

Gazprom-Media Entertainment TV is part of Gazprom-Media Holding and owns the channels TNT, TV-3, Pyatnitsa!, TNT4, 2x2, and Comedy Club Production and Good Story Media producing companies.

Over the period of several years, the company has accumulated huge amounts of structured and unstructured data, much of which it uses for their business development.

Within the framework of Hack the Media hackathon, the company has announced two fields in which they are searching for new solutions:

  1. The company is interested in partnering with projects which are ready to offer innovative products in Digital Media, AI and Big Data, and is looking for those who have ready-made solutions.

  2. Hack the Media hackathon is a chance for developers and analysts to realize their idea of a new algorithm for data processing based on real data sets of Gazprom-Meda RTV.

Why participate:

  • Projects with ready-made solutions will earn a chance to have a personal meeting with the top managers of Gazprom-Media Entertainment TV company on April 7th and 8th

  • Teams participating in the hackathon will receive expert analysis from the representatives from Gazprom-Media RTV and will fight for the prize fund of 500,000 roubles.

Applications

  • Applications from projects with ready-made solutions will be accepted until April 3rd;

  • Applications for hackathon participants will be accepted until March 27th.
