ILIC Students Took Part in the 2nd Gorchakov Readings

Students of the Institute of Linguistics and International Communication (the Department of International Relations)and Doctor of Sciences (Philology), Professor of the Department of International Relations and Regional Studies Natalya Koshkarova took part in the Second Gorchakov Readings held at the Chelyabinsk Region Legislative Assembly on November 14, 2017.

The Readings are held with the support of the Alexander Gorchakov Public Diplomacy Fund and are devoted to the diplomatic traditions of Alexander Mikhailovich Gorchakov in Central Asia. At the Readings the participants delivered their presentations on the topical issues of political, economical and cultural interactions with the Central Asia region in the context of history and the present day. For the International Relations students, participating in such events means gaining a unique experience while discussing the most important problems of the contemporary world order, and improving their professional skills and applying them in their future work as International Relations experts.

South Ural State University and the Department of International Relations and Regional Studies would like to thank the organizers of the Gorchakov Readings – the Regional Public Movement “To the National Restoration of the Ural Region” and the Ural Division of Izborsk Club – for the opportunity to become participants of an important event in the Chelyabinsk Region’s public life, and are expressing their hope for further cooperation!
