11th International Youth Cooking Festival to Be Held at SUSU

 

On November 24, 2017 the 11th International Youth Cooking Festival will be held at South Ural State University (National Research University).

The Festival traditionally welcomes creative young people showing keen interest in cooking and confectionery. School pupils and students from specialized secondary schools come from different regions and neighbouring cities to compare their skills in cooking and making pastry. The Festival is a great opportunity to meet, communicate and share experience and professional visions. As judges the lead experts from public catering and food industry are invited. 

5 contest sections will comprise this Festival: 

  • “Cooking and Class of Service” Section; 

  • “Confectionery” Section; 

  • “Art Design” Section; 

  • “Art Model” Section; and

  • “International Cooking Traditions” Section (for foreign students of SUSU).

Every year SUSU’s foreign students are actively participating in this Festival and present their national cuisines. The geography of the participants is wide: Sri Lanka, Turkmenistan, Egypt, Iraq, Chile, Ecuador, Syria, Colombia, Mexico, China, and other countries.
