The Accreditation in Education All-Russian Journal has estimated the main educational programs of the University at the highest level. Representatives from academic communities of Russian universities have become the experts of the rating.
Regarding the results of expert voting as part of all-Russian project called “The best programs of innovational Russia - 2017”, 23 main educational programs of South Ural State University joined the rank of the best educational programs of the Russian Federation.
“This year objectivity of choice was confirmed by achievements of the universities, which for the first time were presented and analyzed not by the university in general, but by each educational program,” says the Journal website.
The project is aimed at selecting from multiple educational programs the elite of national education, which has already gained public recognition in Russia and can be widely acknowledged abroad, elevating prestige of Russian education.

- Mathematics;
- Fundamental Informatics and Information Technology (2programs);
- Applied Mathematics and Physics (2 programs);
- Chemistry;

- Energy and Resource-Saving Processes in Chemical Technology, Petrochemistry and Biotechnologies;
- Aircraft Control Systems;
- Psychology;
- Economics (2 programs);
- Management;
- Economics;
- Social Science;
- Jurisprudence;

- History.
