SUSU Planning on Improving its Position in Leading International Ratings. A Meeting with QS Representatives

 

On December 12th and 13th, specialists from the company QS (Quacquarelli Symonds) will visit SUSU. The company carries out expert analyses and annually publishes the leading ratings for the best universities in the world. As part of the execution of the Plan of Events for Realizing the Program for Increasing Competitiveness (“Road Map”), specialists from QS and SUSU will discuss various developments and the implementation of a range of measures for increasing the university’s reputation on the international stage.

“The most important indicators for the university’s competitiveness are its high academic reputation, high esteem among employers and, as a result, its international recognition,” notes SUSU Vice Rector of International Affairs, Viktor Katochkov, “Seminars by QS specialists are held with the goal of developing an outline of optimal actions to move the university into the international ratings as soon as possible.”

Various bodies in the university are invited to participate in the seminar, from the highest leadership to students. The main topics of discussion are: introducing SUSU employees to the international ratings system, branding and PR, and their role in increasing competitiveness among leading international universities.
