Institute of Sport, Tourism and service SUSU presented an updated scientific journal

 

The SUSU Institute of Sport, Tourism, and Service updated the South Ural State University Bulletin scientific journal. The series was called “Education, health, and physical culture”. In 2016 the journal was renamed to “Man. Sport. Medicine.”

The journal’s editorial board included researchers and experts of world renown: Benedict le Panse – PhD of Physiology with a specialty in physiology, pathophysiology, neurobiological and physiological basics and the psycho-sociology of sport, director of education at the Panse Parisian school of higher sports mastery, the Academy of Xeme (Paris); Elena Shurova – doctor of biological sciences, head scientist of the G.A. Ilizarova Russian Scientific Center of Orthopedics and Traumatology (Kurgan); Andrey Vazhenin – member-correspondent of the RAS, doctor of medical sciences, head doctor of the Chelyabinsk Regional Clinical Oncological Treatment Center; Katya Mileva – doctor of biomedical engineering, director of the scientific research center of sports sciences and nutrition, senior researcher at the London University South Bank; Mikhail Sokolnikov – doctor of medical sciences, head of the laboratory of radiation epidemiology  of the South Ural Institute of Biophysics at the Federal Medical and Biological Agency of Russia (Ozersk).

The journal’s mission is to form a prestigious platform to share information about advanced scientific developments conducted by researchers and leading specialists in real issues of sport and medicine. The main goal of the journal’s editing staff and editorial board is to bring results in modern scientific results in physiological and medical technologies to the scientific community; rating functional and metabolic state; simulating and forecasting high achievements in sport using supercomputer technologies, and also to familiarize readers with the world’s advanced practices in implementing scientific developments in sport science and medicine.

The series “Education, health, physical culture” of the SUSU Bulletin was founded in 2008 and is presented in four issues each year. Over the years the journal received high marks from the professional community and was included in the list of peer-reviewed scientific publications of the Higher Attestation Commission.
