On April 5 the open class of Natalya P. Datsko, Candidate of Science (Law) and Associate Professor of Labour and Social Law Department, for students of Master's Jurisprudence program was held in a special room of Labour and Social Law Department. The postgraduates study within the program of "Labour Law and Law of Social Security".
The class was carried out in the framework of "Medical Law" discipline on "Medical Insurance". The format of the class was interactive; the professor used presentations and gave a lecture while the Master's program students (among them there were some specialists who worked in the sphere of medical insurance organizations) took an active part in the discussions. Also the meeting was attended by the representative of Chelyabinsk Department of Compulsory Medical Insurance Fund and chief specialist of Fee Policy and Medical Expertise Department Pavel S. Datsko. The students received the information concerning the system of compulsory medical insurance, financing of medical organizations, competence of Compulsory Medical Insurance Fund, characteristics of medical insurance enterprises, its rights and obligations, local regulatory acts (like rate agreement on the basis of which the quality of medical services is checked).
Besides, the practical orientation of the class was preserved; in particular, the participants considered the issues connected with pursued claims of medical organizations to Compulsory Medical Insurance Fund concerning the results of expert control carried out by specialists of medical expertise departments of medical insurance enterprises.
Galiya K. Shafikova, Head of Labour and Social Law Department, and professors of the Department attended open class and took an active part in the discussion of issues connected with compulsory and voluntary medical insurance, perspectives of its development, detection of problems in that sphere and its possible solutions.
