Students of Technological College visited photography museum in Ekaterinburg

On February 2 thirty future photographers of SUSU Technological College together with Pavel Bolshakov and Salavat Safiullin visited Ekaterinburg Museum of Photography named after Metenkov. The excursion was carried out by Evgeny Biryukov, the founder of the museum. The most part of his life the famous historian of Ural photography dedicated to the creation of this unique museum and publication of books about Veniamin Metenkov who was the photographer at Miass plant in 1880. On the pictures of Salavat Safiullin you can see quite youngish Evgeny Biryukov who was already 75 years old and who was happy to have a picture together with Chelyabinsk photographers. Sergey Novikov, photographer of the Ural Devision of Russian Academy of Science, joined the students at the museum with pleasure. Here all the visitors got acquainted with the best works of the international photo competition of phauna and flora of the Earth "Gold Turtle".

The second part of the trip was devoted to the 400th Anniversary of the Romanovs. The ice sculptures near Temple-on-Blood and friary "Ganina Yama" where the tsar's family was killed inspired Pavel Bolshakov, Angelina Chashchikhina, Alyona Shakhmatova, Nastya Gorelik, Natalya Galkina, Valeriy Dubnin and Natalya Podkorytova to the creative deeds which you can see here.
