ART START: SUSU opens Advertising Design Exhibition

27 November at 14:00 in SUSU Exhibition Centre the projects exposition of Russian National Competition “Art Design in Advertising” starts. The organizer is Trade and Economic Faculty.

Joe Sparano, modern designer, says: “Good design is obvious. Great design is transparent”. Visualization of high quality is an integral and very important part of advertising communications. They say that good design will not help bad idea and bad design will not uncover its sense. Next week you can estimate the quality of technical mastery and design ideas of Russian students.

Competition “Art Design in Advertising” is an annual festival of advertising design for active young artists, designers, creatives and ad makers. Every year more than 100 works are represented in 9 nominations: exterior advertising, poster advertisement, advertising calendar, advertising brochure, corporate style, project design of social advertising, advertising package, internet banner and POS-materials. The participants of competition are students and school children from Moscow, Novosibirsk, Izhevsk, Chelyabinsk, Magnitogorsk and other cities of Russia.

The works of competition participants will be assessed by the respected advertising designers and representatives of advertising association.

“Competition “Art Design in Advertising” is a great opportunity for students to have a look at their own works, compare them with the works sent from other universities. Competition “Art Design in Advertising” is a good place where you can see a real “price for creative ideas” in your works and their applicability in practice as the works are assessed by professionals. This is the very key to the professional perfection”, noted Irina Yurevna Okolnishnikova, Head of Marketing Communications Department, Dean of Trade and Economic Faculty.

We would like to invite the student, professors and employees of the University to visit one of the most vivid and youth advertising event of the year!

Exhibition schedule: 27-30 November, Exhibition opening hours: 10:00–16:00.
